Join us for a working bee and much needed high water clean up at The Lizard Lounge! Note: We are meeting an hour earlier to try and beat the expected heat.

We'll be clearing away mostly plant debris (reeds) from on top of our plants and making sure they are okay and doing a bit of a weed after all this rain followed by a cuppa and a chat.

We'd love the help as it is a big task.

The Lizard Lounge has been transformed from a large patch of weedy grass into an oasis of indigenous wildflowers, grasses, shrubs and trees. There is abundant wildlife at the site.

We love meeting new people and sharing the experience of the creek together as we do good work. Join us!

Entry to the site is between 25 and 27 Fraser St, Sunshine.

Bring your own gloves and water bottles. It is wise to wear hats, long pants and shirts as well as sturdy shoes. We will supply tools but feel free to bring along your preferred weeding tool.
